On December 6, at the headquarters of the Cuban Ministry of Agriculture in the capital Havana, the Royal International Food Corporation of Vietnam and the Alquizar Agricultural Company – part of the Artemisa Forestry Enterprise Group (Cuba) – signed an economic cooperation contract for the cultivation of cashews and some short-day food crops such as peanuts, black beans, green beans, and soybeans. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Cuban Deputy Minister of Agriculture Telcel Abdel González, Vietnamese Ambassador to Cuba Lê Quang Long, and leaders of the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture.
