Vietnam coffee exports in the first 10 months of 2025 show promising growth

At the beginning of November 2025, global coffee prices continued to rise sharply, setting a new high as supply tightened and adverse weather affected production activities. Along with that, domestic coffee prices also increased sharply despite being in the harvest season. The main reason is the weakening of the USD, while Vietnam's and Brazil's domestic currencies appreciated, making Robusta coffee more expensive on the international market. Besides, prolonged flooding in the Central Highlands slowed down the harvest progress and reduced supply, contributing to the rise in domestic coffee prices. On November 10, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces increased from 2,400 to 2,800 VND/kg compared to November 1, 2025, fluctuating between 118,200 and 119,700 VND/kg (depending on the surveyed area).
