Notably, the rice trade surplus has decreased sharply due to a sharp increase in rice imports. However, it is noteworthy that rice imports reached 1.5 billion USD, causing the rice trade surplus to decrease sharply to only 2.33 billion USD, a decrease of up to 41% compared to the same period last year.
