Vietnam is the second-largest market supplying tea to Thailand.

According to data from the Bureau of Import and Export from the International Trade Center (ITC), in the first 9 months of 2025, Thailand imported 13.2 thousand tons of tea, valued at 29.02 million USD, a decrease of 12% in quantity but an increase of 48.9% in value compared to the same period in 2024. In the first 9 months of 2025, in terms of quantity, China, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, and Myanmar are the major tea suppliers to Thailand. Among them, Vietnam is the second-largest supplier, accounting for 34.24% of the quantity and 15.47% of the value in Thailand's total tea imports, an increase of 29.99% in quantity and 13.42% in value compared to the first 9 months of 2024. While the quantity of tea imports to Thailand decreased, imports from Vietnam increased by 0.4% in quantity and 71.7% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
