Vietnam is the second-largest supplier of white fish to the U.S.

Vietnam's pangasius exports to the United States in July reached $31 million, a year-on-year increase of 69%. The total export value to the U.S. in the first seven months of the year was $190 million, a year-on-year increase of 20%. The main exports to the U.S. include frozen pangasius fillets, processed fish, dried fish, and other frozen products. The recovery in Vietnam's pangasius exports to the U.S. this year is due to a significant reduction in market inventory last year, and experts anticipate further consumption increase.
