Statistics from the Taiwan Foreign Trade Administration (BOFT) show that, in the first eight months of 2021, Taiwan imported over 22,170 tons of tea (tea) from 32 partners around the world. In which, 53.29% is Vietnamese tea. In terms of export value, Vietnamese tea to Taiwan reached 18.55 million USD, accounting for 30.59% of the total import turnover of tea in this country.

Thus, compared to the same period last year, Vietnamese tea exports to Taiwan increased by 9.73% in volume and 9% in value. With a large proportion of exports, Vietnam is taking the leading position in the top 37 countries exporting this item to Taiwan.
