Vietnam's cashew nut exports to the UK market have experienced a significant surge in the first two months of 2022, reaching 3.41 thousand tons and valued at 22.53 million USD, marking a 14.3% increase in volume and 38% increase in value compared to the same period in 2021. Vietnamese cashews have dominated the UK market, accounting for 90.95% of the market share, a significant increase from 78.72% in the same period last year. The import data also highlights a decline in imports from other countries such as India, the Netherlands, and Ivory Coast compared to February 2021. Overall, Vietnam's cashew nuts have shown a notable growth in the UK market, despite a slight decrease in overall cashew imports in the first two months of 2022 compared to the previous year.
