According to the Vietnam Cashew Association (Vinacas), data from the Vietnam Customs General Department shows that in July of this year, Vietnam exported 68,000 tons of cashews, generating $460 million in revenue, with an export volume increase of 1.3% year-on-year and an export value increase of 11%. In the first seven months of this year, the cumulative export reached 413,000 tons, valued at $2.8 billion, with an export value increase of 18.3% year-on-year. The average export price of Vietnamese cashews in the first seven months reached $6,805 per ton, up 21.4% from the same period last year, marking the highest price in recent years and reflecting the growing global demand for nuts.
