In the first seven months of 2021, the Netherlands saw a 2.1% increase in cashew nut imports in volume but a 9.4% decrease in value compared to the same period in 2020, totaling 35.4 thousand tons and valued at EUR 205.62 million. The country's imports from Vietnam and Ivory Coast rose, while those from India and Brazil fell. Vietnam became the dominant supplier, contributing 82.29% to the total Dutch imports with 29.13 thousand tons, valued at EUR 167 million. The Netherlands ranked as the third-largest market for Vietnam's cashew nuts, importing 53,072 tons worth $291 million in the first nine months of 2021.
