Cambodia Rice Alliance Secretary-General Lun Yeng stated at the results announcement ceremony for the 2025 "World's Most Fragrant Rice" competition held on November 9 that this year, over 30 rice samples from multiple countries participated in the competition, with the Cambodian "Malis Angkor" brand's Phka Romdoul rice and Vietnam's ST25 rice jointly winning the award.
This marks the third time that the rice brand "Guo Weng ST25," created by labor hero Hu Guang Guo, has won the title of the World's Most Fragrant Rice, having previously won in the international competitions in 2019 and 2023.
The 2025 World's Most Fragrant Rice competition is part of the 7th Global Rice Trade Conference held by The Rice Trader from November 7 to 9 in Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia. (End)
