Vietnam's tuna exports in November reached nearly 82 million US dollars, marking a 4% increase year-on-year, and the cumulative exports from January to November were 903 million US dollars, a 17% increase year-on-year. The export value is projected to hit around 1 billion US dollars by year-end. However, canned tuna exports saw an 8% decline in November. Exports to major markets like the EU, Israel, Russia, Japan, and South Korea also decreased, although exports to the United States continued to grow. Exports to the EU market experienced significant drops, with Italy and Germany down 95% and 39% respectively, while the Netherlands only saw modest growth. Japan's imports of Vietnam's tuna also fell in November, but the overall increase in the first 11 months was 4%. Meanwhile, exports to Canada rebounded in November, rising by 11%, and exports to Mexico and Chile also showed strong growth.
