Yesterday, November 17, the VII Latin American Avocado Congress 2025 was inaugurated, where distinguished leaders of the Peruvian agricultural sector were recognized, including union leaders, entrepreneurs, and former ministers of agriculture who contributed to the positioning of the Hass avocado as one of the star products of national agro-export. The recognition was made to the former presidents of the Association of Producers and Exporters of Hass Avocados of Peru (ProHass), as well as to former ministers of agriculture who had a decisive role in the growth of the sector.
