Vilfand warns of sharp cold snap in six Russian districts

In the coming days, temperatures significantly below normal will be observed in six districts of Russia - in the Far East, in the Volga region and Siberia, in the Urals, in the republics of the North Caucasus, as well as in the European part of Russia (center and south). This forecast was voiced by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand, TASS reports. On average, according to him, the thermometer column in these territories during the current week will be 5-9 degrees lower than usual. The meteorologist also assessed the situation in individual regions. The most serious drop in temperature is expected in the Irkutsk region and Buryatia - minus 33-36 and minus 31-34 degrees, and the lag from the norm will be 6-8 degrees.
