Ukraine's volumes of milk whey exports increased by almost 40% in January

In January 2023, Ukraine exported 1.2 thousand tons of whey, which is 39.6% more than in the same period last year. This was reported by the State Customs Service. At the same time, in monetary terms, exports increased by only 4.9% compared to January 2022 - up to $1 million. The most active buyers of Ukrainian whey in January this year were China (70.6%), Egypt (7.1%) and Turkey (5.3%). The import of whey to Ukraine in January 2023 decreased by 61.3% to 464 tons.
