Voronezh enterprises increased the production of sour cream by 32.3% and meat semi-finished products by 20.8%.

According to Rosstat, in January–July of this year, the dairy processing enterprises of the Voronezh region increased the production of sour cream by 32.3% compared to the previous year, reaching 11.4 thousand tons. The production of cheese also increased by 5.6% to 35.4 thousand tons, and milk (excluding raw milk) by 1.1% to 119.3 thousand tons. The production of butter amounted to 12.7 thousand tons, cottage cheese to 10.3 thousand tons, and kefir to 7.3 thousand tons. The production of meat, meat-containing chilled and frozen semi-finished products was recorded at 117.6 thousand tons, which is 20.8% more than a year earlier. Also, during the analyzed period, the region produced 89.4 thousand tons of boiled, cooled, or chilled pork, 6.7 thousand tons of sausage products, and 4.3 thousand tons of boiled, cooled, or chilled beef (beef and veal).
