Vraem: Devida strengthens food safety with the delivery of 102 health records

The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) delivered 102 health registrations to 43 agrarian associations and cooperatives in Ayacucho, Cusco, and Junín, located in the Valley of the Rivers Apurímac, Ene, and Mantaro (Vraem), which will allow more families in vulnerable situations to strengthen their enterprises and disconnect from illegal economies linked to drug trafficking. The certifications, issued by the General Directorate of Environmental Health, enable the beneficiary organizations to market their products in accordance with the quality and safety standards required by current health regulations, expanding their opportunities for insertion in specialized fairs, supermarkets, and regional and national markets.
