In July, over 702,000 juvenile nelma were released into the Ob River and its tributaries in the Novosibirsk region to support the ecosystem. This initiative, overseen by the Verkhneobsky TU of the Russian Fisheries Agency and various economic entities, involved more than 30 organizations, including major companies like PJSC Gazpromneft and JSC Kuznetsk Ferroalloys. The Ob River, a crucial waterway in Siberia, is vital for the socio-economic well-being of the region. Enterprises are required to ensure environmental safety and compensate for any ecological damage to preserve Siberia's unique ecosystem.
