Bulgaria: We buy butter twice as expensive as other Europeans

Oil in our country is almost twice as expensive as in other EU member states (EU), according to data from the bulletin of the Center for Economic Research in Agriculture (SARA). According to the statistics, in June the oil in our country was traded for BGN 1528 per 100 kg or about BGN 14 / kg. During the same period in the other EU countries it was at an average price of BGN 801.9, about BGN 80.20 per kilogram. Against the background of constantly rising prices, the production of some dairy products is also decreasing. For example, in the period January-April it decreased by 2% for butter and 6.3 percent for skimmed milk powder. Growth is observed only in condensed milk - 4.6%, cheese - 3 percent, and cream by just over 1%, adds "Monitor".
