The case was brought to light by Bichos de Campo a few days ago and it is a conflict that began 3 years ago over a 43-kilometer stretch that connects the towns of Adelia María and Las Acequias.
In that part of southern Córdoba, route 10 is still unpaved. To move forward with its paving, the provincial government had proposed to the producers that they cover 25% of the costs with their own funds and, as they opposed, the work did not progress.
Beyond the proposal to contribute with their own money, the problem erupted when the same producers saw how other stretches of that same route were being paved with public budget and at no cost to the landowners. Following public accusations of discrimination and complicity, this week efforts began to be made to find a solution.
