A high yield has many components. One of them is the provision of microelements during the vegetation of the crop. Thus, it is known that boron is critically important for sunflower – it affects growth, pollination, and the formation of the crop. Therefore, even at the planning stage, it is necessary to decide on the introduction of this element, depending on which problems you want to solve, writes the magazine The Ukrainian Farmer. Thus, to improve the pollination of the basket, boron should be applied during the budding phase.
