Ukraine has seen a 29% increase in exports of goods, with the Ministry of Economy reporting a total value of over $5 billion, led by sunflower oil. Other significant exports include sunflower meal, poultry meat, sugar, and soybean meal. The main agricultural raw materials exported are corn, wheat, and soybeans. The EU, China, Turkey, Egypt, and India are the main markets for Ukrainian products, despite difficulties at the land border with the EU. In 2025, Ukraine plans to find a solution for access to the EU market for sensitive agricultural products. However, the European Commission used an emergency brake in 2024 to restrict imports of certain products from Ukraine due to excessive growth, including sugar, soybean meal, and eggs.
