Brazilian mills are concerned about the quality of wheat harvested in Argentina for the 2025/26 cycle, according to the Brazilian Wheat Industry Association (Abitrigo). The assessment comes after representatives from mills and industry players visited wheat fields, port terminals, and met with representatives of the supply chain in the country, in the province of Santa Fe, between November 18 and 20. Argentina is heading for a historic wheat crop in 2025/26, with a forecast of a record production of 24.5 million tons, according to the Rosario Stock Exchange. According to Abitrigo, during the visit, the group found that the absence of segregation in exports and climatic conditions indicate a likely drop in the quality of the product. “We expect a lower grain harvest.
