The port of Damietta has seen significant activity, with 73 container ships and general cargo arriving and 64 departing, bringing the total number of ships to 208. The port received various commodities including wheat, corn, cattle, food oil, beans, soybeans, soybean meal, iron, scrap, wood, plywood, ethylene chloride, molasses, marble, and slug. It also loaded a ship with 63,000 tons of wheat from France. The port has also exported commodities such as urea, iron, sand, diammonium, and miscellaneous goods. On Monday, the port received 17 ships, making it the busiest day for ship receivals.
