Following the update of the global wheat balance, which predicts an increase in the global harvest by 28 million tons compared to last season, traders were interested in how tender prices would react to it. On November 18, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Jordan held a tender for the purchase of 120,000 tons of milling wheat of any origin for shipment between January 16 and 31, 2026, at which 60,000 tons of wheat were contracted with CHS at a price of $263.85/ton C&F. Also at the tender, wheat was offered by Buildcom at $264.77/ton, Cofco at $265.50/ton, and Cargill at $265.95/ton.
