Fruit and vegetable prices in the world

Analysts from Picodi.com have compiled a ranking of the countries where the average price of the most popular fruits and vegetables has increased the most in 2022. The list includes the prices of potatoes, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, oranges, bananas and apples in 94 countries. Of the 94 countries included in the list, the prices of these seven fruits and vegetables rose the most in Turkey, with 72.2% in the past seven months. The price of tomatoes rose the fastest, by no less than 121%. Belarus and Russia took second and third place on the list, the price of the analyzed fruit and vegetable basket rose by 33.4% and 27.3% respectively. In Belarus, tomato stood out (+52%), in Russia potato (+45%). At the other end of the spectrum, we have the Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Bolivia, countries where the price of the basket of these fruits and vegetables actually fell by 5%, 5% and 8% ...
