Its complementary role to the North American market is fundamental for producing countries like Mexico, Peru, and Brazil. The stability of the euro, combined with its condition as a globalizing market without tariff barriers, has allowed it to consolidate as one of the three largest global importers of this tropical fruit. However, the European market also faces a series of challenges that must be addressed in the short and medium term.
