The article highlights an increase in the cultivation of silage maize in the Burhaniye district of Balıkesir, Turkey, with the establishment of packaging facilities facilitating the work of animal breeders. Oğuz Atilla Hanebakan, the operator, produces and packages roughly 5-6 thousand tons of corn silage annually, which is more economical than feed and preferred by animal breeders like Cavit İmer, who finds it cost-effective for his small cattle breeding business.
