White chicken prices have dropped to between 68 and 70 pounds per kilo, turkey prices have fallen to between 90 and 120 pounds per kilo, and duck prices have decreased to between 65 and 95 pounds per kilo. Egypt's poultry production is currently around 4 million chickens per day, and the country has achieved nearly 97% self-sufficiency in white poultry, consuming about 150 thousand tons per month. The Ministry of Agriculture is planning to increase poultry exports to Saudi and Kuwaiti markets.
