Minister Wiersma and the Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety want to talk to the duck sector

The Party for the Animals has raised concerns about footage aired by RTL, showing the catching of ducks for slaughter, as captured by Animal Rights. In response, Wiersma and the NVWA will engage in further discussions with the sector and explore new enforcement methods to ensure ducks are treated without unnecessary stress, pain, or suffering. The NVWA will also review all footage from Animal Rights and enforce regulations where possible.
