Wine production in the first two months of the 2025-2026 campaign has increased by 1.1%, compared to the same period last year, with 23.3 million hectoliters, although estimates from the Interprofessional Wine Organization of Spain (OIVE) point to this year being lower due to the effects of the climate. The interprofessional organization published this Wednesday the monthly economic report 2025 corresponding to the month of September, in which it analyzed the evolution of wine production during the first two months of the current campaign (August and September). According to their data, in the first two months of the campaign there has been an increase in wine production of 1.1%, although the latest estimates predict a production of about 31.5 million hectoliters, that is, a reduction of 15%.
