Brazil's papaya exports have seen a decline since June, with August's exports down by 3% from July and 21% from the previous year, attributed to lower national production due to colder weather and reduced investments. The main destinations for Brazilian papaya in August were Portugal, Spain, the UK, and the Netherlands, which accounted for 67% of the total exports. It is expected that the export volume will remain low in the coming months, with no significant increase in supply forecasted.
