Winter barley in Belarus harvested almost 93% of the area

Winter barley in Belarus has been harvested on 92.8% of the area, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. As of July 19, grain and leguminous crops (without corn, buckwheat, millet) harvested 160.6 thousand hectares, or 8.11% of the plan. 559.7 thousand tons of grain were harvested with an average yield of 36.6 centners per hectare. Winter barley was harvested on 142.1 thousand hectares (92.8% of the harvested area), 496.3 thousand tons were harvested with an average yield of 34.9 centners per hectare. Winter rapeseed for grain was harvested on 60.4 thousand hectares (18.1% of the harvested area), threshed 126.2 thousand tons with an average yield of 20.9 centners per hectare. Flax has been hauled out on 6.88 thousand hectares, which is 15.8% of the harvested area.
