Russia: Winter crop sowing completed in the Belgorod region

Belgorod farmers have successfully completed the sowing of winter crops, occupying a total area of 360 thousand hectares, with winter wheat being the predominant crop. Other crops such as winter rye, barley, and triticale were also sown. To ensure stable growth and high yield, mineral fertilizers were applied over an area of 248 thousand hectares. Furthermore, 88% of the soil for the next harvest, spanning 717.2 thousand hectares, has been prepared.
