The Farmers' Dawn Market in Wonju, which first opened on May 1, 1994, has been operating for 32 years. It opens from 4 a.m. to 9 a.m. every day. With 232 farms participating, fresh produce harvested on the same day is directly traded, and it has been well-received by consumers at affordable prices. Last year, it recorded 460,000 visitors and sales of 7.9 billion won. This year, it aims to achieve 470,000 visitors and sales of 8.0 billion won, and is scheduled to operate until December 10.
