Workers Demand Accountability from Rioplatense Refrigeration Plant Following Employee's Death During Work Shift

One month after the death of Alan Paz (28), a young worker at Rioplatense Refrigeration Plant who was crushed by a wall while working, family members, internal union delegates, and social organizations will demand clarification of the incident. This Wednesday the 25th, starting at 3 PM, they will march from the plant's entry area at Av Constituyentes 2499, General Pacheco, to the Pacheco Crossing. On Sunday, May 25th, Alan Paz (28) went to work. It was an opportunity. The holiday workday pays more; and he had previously missed work due to neighborhood flooding. The company was under construction, so they sent him to demolish a wall. He did not finish the task. The wall fell on top of him, hit his head without a helmet, and he died.
