Workshop organized to increase garfish population in Türkiye and Bulgaria

A workshop was organized in Iskenderun district of Hatay to increase the garfish population in the coastal waters of Turkey and Bulgaria. The workshop organized by Iskenderun Technical University (ISTE) in cooperation with the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS) and with the support of the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) has been completed. Academicians from Turkey and Bulgaria participated in the workshop online. Studies on increasing the garfish population on the coasts of the two countries were presented in the program.
