FMC India, in collaboration with GB Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, has organized a workshop to celebrate World Bee Day as part of their Project Madhushakti. The initiative aims to empower women farmers in Uttarakhand, providing sustainable income, enhancing living standards, and supporting biodiversity. Over the next three years, the project aims to train 750 women farmers as beekeepers, potentially benefiting over 8,000 people. The workshop was highlighted by the Vice-Chancellor of the university and the Director of Research, emphasizing the importance of honeybees and the potential of beekeeping in Uttarakhand.
