On January 17, 2023, quotations for wheat at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) slightly increased. Maritime wheat prices for CBOT in Chicago rose to $276.22 per ton, maritime hard wheat prices in Kansas City to $314.43 per ton, and maritime firm wheat prices remained unchanged at $336.57. Future contracts for corn and soybeans at the Chicago Board of Trade increased to recent highs due to signs of export demand and support from positive USDA reports on demand and supply. As a result, wheat prices also followed this upward trend. Maruvka wheat for March delivery on CBOT increased by 8 cents to $7.51-3/4 per bushel.
