Xinzo de Limia focuses the potato debate on Spain and Portugal

María Álvarez Xinzo de Limia has inaugurated this Friday a new edition of her double fair, ProLimia and Alimagro, a tandem aimed at highlighting the role of traditional trade and the agricultural sector of the region. The mayor of the town of Orense, Amador Díaz, highlighted the emblematic role of the potato in the region and recalled the role of Xinzo as a reference, "both at a national level and for the Portuguese friends who visit us." Díaz was committed to a sector that must continue training to face the challenges that lie ahead, such as irrigation, whose works have just begun in the region "and whose effects we will be fully aware of within five or six years."
