Yeni Quispe Chambi will represent Puno in the XII National Barismo Championship in Ficafé Amazonas 2025

The National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs (Devida) reported that Yeni Yamileth Quispe Chambi, 23 years old, will represent the Puno region in the XII National Barismo Championship, which will be held within the framework of the IX International Specialty Coffee Fair of Peru – Ficafé Amazonas 2025. The qualification was achieved by obtaining first place in the III Puno Regional Barismo Championship, held during the Expovida Puno 2025. The regional competition brought together eight baristas from various cafes in Puno. The jury, composed of professionals in the field, applied standards from the World Barista Championship and highlighted Quispe Chambi's precision, creativity, and cleanliness in espresso, milk-based drinks, and signature drinks within 15 minutes.
