This year's procurement volume totals 6,049 tons, including 5,197 tons of public reserve grains and 852 tons of raw grain for flour. The procurement will focus on the region's main varieties, Samgwang rice and Jindal rice, but will also separately purchase flour varieties such as 'Baromi 2' and rice damaged by rice blast according to the schedule. The county urged farmers to thoroughly select and manage the crops to prevent any discrepancies in variety testing at the procurement sites, and emphasized safety on site due to the crowded conditions. Meanwhile, the purchased rice will be subject to an immediate intermediate payment of 40,000 won.
