[Agricultural, Fisheries, and Livestock Newspaper=Reporter Park Nara] The county of Yesan successfully concluded the 15th Republic of Korea Famous Wine Awards, a representative traditional liquor competition in the country where traditional liquor masters and enthusiasts from across the nation gathered. Held on the 1st at the Yesan Culture Center, this event was jointly hosted and organized by the county and the Korea Traditional Liquor Research Institute (Director Park Nokdam), with sponsorship from the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Cultural Heritage Administration, the Chungcheongnam-do Province, and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation. Under the clear and cool autumn sunlight, the event venue was filled with the fragrant scent of grain wine and the laughter of people. In the front courtyard of the event venue, distillers from across the nation showcased the liquor they had brewed themselves, and visitors lined up longingly in front of the tasting tables.
