According to the document, "in 2023, 41,238 tons were sent, generating revenue close to US$ 102 million." The product is classified by the Common Nomenclature of Mercosur into two categories, "mate simply cancheado" and "other types of mate," with the latter accounting for the largest volume exported. The report pointed out that the main destinations for Brazilian yerba mate were Uruguay, with 32,667 tons, followed by Argentina, with 7,674 tons, and Syria, with 3,220 tons.
