Zero inflation was recorded in Russia last week.

The consumer price index in Russia remained unchanged for the period from April 7 to April 13. This was reported by Rosstat in its weekly report. Some goods saw minor price increases, such as granulated sugar and buckwheat groats. Meanwhile, prices for cucumbers, onions, and flour decreased compared to the previous week. The most significant changes were recorded in the services sector – the cost of trips to Southeast Asian countries and the Black Sea coast of Russia fell by 7.8% and 5.4%, respectively. Zero weekly inflation led to a slowdown in the annual rate to 5.77%. Since the beginning of 2026, prices have risen on average by 3.15%. Earlier, President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia needs to return to the trajectory of sustainable economic growth.
