Zimbabwe’s agricultural turn-around strategy charms Africa

Zimbabwe's agricultural reforms have caught the attention of Africa at the 12th Africa Green Revolution Forum, with President Mnangagwa's leadership and the country's resilience in self-sufficiency despite sanctions and economic challenges inspiring regional and international interest. The focus is on Zimbabwe's economic, political, and agricultural reforms, which have led to infrastructural development and modernization, despite limited international credit. Highlighted were the country's successful agricultural programs, including winter wheat irrigation and the Pfumvudza/Intwasa model for smallholder farmers, amidst a geopolitical crisis affecting food security.
