In W26 in the mango landscape, it was reported that while most South American mango suppliers are out of season, Colombia has entered the peak availability for the Tommy Atkins variety with stable prices due to the consistent volume of mangoes supplied by the producing regions. In the United States (US) mango import market, these are currently the highest volume months for mangoes as main suppliers to the US reach their peak season. On the other hand, after a period of low prices, the Tommy mango variety in the São Francisco Valley (PE/BA) has experienced a price increase. During W26, the price reached USD 0.38/kg (BRL 1.83/kg), a 28.3% increase compared to W25. Initially, the market had insufficient demand to support prices despite low supply. However, this week, producers reported an even more significant reduction in supply, resulting in a supply shortage compared to demand.

The Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board's Export Facilitation Center at Vashi has experienced a significant surge in mango exports, with 974.89 tons exported as of June 23, a notable increase of one and a half times compared to previous years. Tiandong County, a prominent mango production area, generated an output of 321 thousand mt in 2022 and anticipates 360 thousand mt this year.
