The increase in table grape production in the São Francisco Valley in Pernambuco State, where double cropping is available due to the irrigation system, has contributed to supplying domestic demand for table grapes, while reducing imports volume. However, imported Red Globes and Thompsons are still main varieties for supplying the low season.
