Industry News: Brazilian dairy company Grupo Piracanjuba has acquired cheese manufacturer Santa Barbara Indústria e Comércio de Bens e Laticínios (Natulact), establishing its first production site in Brazil’s Northeast. Located in Sergipe, Natulact has over 30 years of experience producing cheeses like mozzarella, coalho, prato, and minas frescal. The acquisition strengthens Piracanjuba’s national presence and leverages Natulact’s strategic location in a key dairy-producing area. Piracanjuba plans to initially maintain current cheese lines while gradually expanding production and transitioning branding. Pending antitrust approval, the deal includes retaining the plant’s 260 employees and existing supplier relationships.

Noteworthy Products: In Germany, GAZİ Shepherd's Cheese in Oil with Herbs stood out for its mild taste, high quality, and use of 100% rapeseed oil infused with oregano, thyme, and rosemary, offering both nutritional value and rich flavor. Its versatility makes it ideal for pairing with bread, salads, honey and walnuts, or for grilling, frying, and use in dips and dishes like Börek.
