Industry News: The Expana Benchmark Price (EBP) for Brazilian orange juice concentrate dropped to USD 4,400 per metric ton (mt) in Apr-25, marking its ninth straight monthly decline. It is down 32.3% year-on-year (YoY) and 15.4% month-on-month (MoM). This drop follows record highs in Aug-24, driven by a poor harvest. Dec-24 inventories were 351,483 mt, down 24% YoY and nearly 46% below the 10-year average. Long-term inventory declines reflect structural production challenges from citrus greening disease and erratic weather, which continue to limit supply in Brazil and other major growing regions.

Noteworthy Products: In Apr-25, private label brands continued to rise in popularity across the US, with two Amazon.com manufactured products entering Tridge’s Top 20 list for the first time—an indication of shifting consumer preferences toward private label brands. Leading the list was the Happy Belly 100% Apple Juice 64 fluid ounces (fl oz), a standout for its balanced flavor.
