10 thousand mulberry saplings were distributed to silkworm producers in Kulp district by Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality. The distribution ceremony was attended by Kulp District Governor and Deputy Mayor Mustafa Gözlet, Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality Rural Services Department Head Nihat Nurbaki, NGO representatives and silkworm producers. Speaking at the ceremony held in the garden of Kulp District Governorship, Governor and Deputy Mayor Mustafa Gözlet said that they provided all kinds of support to 700 producers in order to increase the production of wet cocoon in the district.
